Historic Venetian Manor
Cretan Renaissance occupies a Venetian manor house on Kountourioti Coast, designated as a historical monument by the Ephorate of Byzantium Antiquities and UNESCO. The building dates to the Venetian domination of Crete and features architectural elements from that era. Each of the four apartments is named after heroines from 16th and 17th century Cretan literature: Erophéle, Aretoúsa, Panórea, and Dolcétta.
